Representative Engagements

Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer and served as Interim Director of Marketing and Communications for a 188-bed pediatric hospital in Philadelphia. Initially was responsible for the marketing, public relations, internal communications and community relations functions. Guided the hospital's time-sensitive internal and external communications through the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, supported the build out of a fundraising platform following the hospital's return to its non-profit roots, spearheaded the inaugural community health needs assessment and implementation plan along with the Pediatrician in Chief, created and launched a high-impact campaign integrating OOH, transit, print, digital, video and radio, designed materials to promote departments and service lines, participated as a non-voting member in local board meetings, and co-led efforts to implement health equity reporting along with the Director of Population Health and Director of Community Outreach. Provided onsite support for five years, during which a Head of Communications was hired and other resources were engaged.

Interim Communications Advisor to the Chief Executive Officer for a 344-bed community not-for-profit hospital serving Montgomery and the Alabama River Region, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Developed and executed strategic communications plans and timelines in coordination with the Chief Restructuring Officer, Legal Counsel and Chief Executive Officer as they worked to stabilize the hospital's financial condition following an unsuccessful affiliation with a private equity firm and bondholder action. Guided the hospital's time-sensitive internal and external communications, including ongoing communications with clinical and non-clinical staff, board of directors, community partners, media, referring institutions, and local government officials. Provided onsite and remote support for one year until local and permanent resources were hired.

Senior Communications Leader and Advisor to the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of a nationwide healthcare advisory practice. Developed the communication and marketing strategy, including a well-executed PR and thought leadership strategy and outreach to target audiences, focused on building authority, trust and visibility.

Part-time Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for a majority female-owned professional services firm offering civil and environmental services in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Responsible for strategic leadership, brand management and managing the marcomm technology stacks.
