She assists clients by harnessing the power of words to craft concise, compelling, targeted messages that deliver results, simplifying complex ideas into clear, memorable language. Teaming up with 50 Words graphics team, Diane helps execute strong conceptual storytelling, pairing words and visuals to communicate emotion, narrative and brand meaning.
A writer with 40+ years experience, Diane is a messaging expert and versatile content provider who brings deep marketing insight to each 50 Words client, always with an eye toward strategy. She understands that words exist to serve a business goal—positioning, differentiation, trust, or action—and connects messaging to brand strategy, audience insight, and market context. She can quickly get inside a brand — its voice, values, and point of view—and write in a way that feels authentic and consistent, engaging readers with fresh ideas and creative solutions. She has written for many industries, including finance, green business, real estate, healthcare, higher education, technology and transportation.
Previously, she served as Advertising Director for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI, promoting brands, introducing products and increasing market share. She also served as Copy Director at several advertising agencies and as Marketing Director at United Way of Greater Manchester.
She is a member of the Creative Communications Club of Providence, volunteers for the Tiverton Land Trust, and sails offshore whenever she gets a chance.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts from New England College in Henniker, NH.
